Screening Agreement

You must agree to our screening agreement.

  1. Pay the licensing fee for one screening of HAPPY: $49.99.
  2. Send the total amount of the licensing fee no later than 10 days following the Sponsoring Organization’s HAPPY screening date.
  3. E-mail total event attendance the day after the screening to screenings@thehappymovie.com
  4. Only show the film on the date confirmed with Wadi Rum Films. Sponsoring Organization will submit the dates and times of all showings to Wadi Rum Films and notify our office immediately if any changes occur.
  5. The sponsoring organization is responsible for covering all costs associated with the screenings, including:
    1. All aspects of promotion, public relations, and hosting for the HAPPY event(s). *HAPPY does not automatically send a representative to licensed HAPPY events. The Sponsoring Organization is solely responsible for running, hosting and emceeing the event.
    2. Providing/organizing a ticketing service if necessary.
    3. Providing all screening equipment: DVD or Blu-ray player, projector, screen, accessory equipment (cords, speakers, and microphones if necessary).
    4. Playing the HAPPY DVD in its entirety well in advance of the show on the equipment that will be used to make sure there are no glitches in the DVD, and to report and resolve any potential screening issues prior to the show.
  6. Not allow any audio or video recording of the film at any of the screenings.
  7. Sponsoring Organization will not, under any circumstances, make copies of the movie on any format, nor will they distribute the movie for any purposes apart from the licensed screening herein.
  8. Only use approved HAPPY artwork, promotional information, and materials to assist in publicizing the screening event.
